Jake Stine Wins Arizona High Power Silhouette Championship
Team SK shooter Jake Stine scored an overall Aggregate of 107×160 to capture the Arizona High Power (centerfire) 2022 Silhouette State Championship. Among all shooters of all ages, the talented young shooter took 1st Place in Standard Rifle class and 2nd Place in Hunter Rifle class. In the Junior Division, Stine won BOTH Standard Rifle and Hunter Rifle Junior categories.
The 2022 Arizona High Power Silhouette State Championship was hosted by the Arizona State Rifle & Pistol Association and the Hassayampa Rod & Gun Club in Phoenix, AZ, March 26-27, 2002. For High Power silhouette competition, shooters engage ten chickens at 200 meters, ten pigs at 300 meters, ten turkeys at 385 meters, and ten rams at 500 meters with centerfire rifle cartridges.

Stine shoots the 6mmBR Norma cartridge with Lapua cases for High Power (centerfire) Silhouette competition. He loads Vihtavuori N135 behind Berger 6mm 95gr VLD Target bullets for chickens (200m), pigs (300m), and turkeys (385m). For the rams at 500 meters, Stine shoots the heavier Berger 6mm 108gr BT Target bullets propelled with Vihtavuori N140 power.
